About

The primary purpose of this site is to pass along the wealth of knowledge contained within the 49 times newsletters. It is hoped that this knowledge can be built upon by others to add additional knowledge and experiences.  Articles, tips, pictures and video links are welcome. Personal videos or links to other restoration videos will also work.

A BIG shout out to all of the individuals who contributed their time a knowledge contained in these newsletters.  Without them, none of this would be possible.

Newsletters prior to 2009 were scanned as pdfs. The files are quite large. I am using Yumpu to host the files. You can read them online and forward a link to yourself. You will not be able to downloaded or print them. You can do a print screen if you want a hard copy. Hold down the ctrl+shift+prtsc keys then paste it into your word processor or Microsoft paint. I have created a post for each article and tagged them to make them searchable by general topic. Starting in 2009 the newsletters were in electronic format so you can use the search box to search for specific terms. There is also a link to each newsletter at the end of the article. I will try to add the photos as time permits but you can see them in the pdf on Yumpu.

To submit new content, please use the contact tab. Videos and article are greatly appreciated. If possible try to use one of the photo sharing services for your pictures and include a link in your test. This will help the site work faster. If you don’t have an account with one of these , I will try to fit it on the page. please try to make the file size as small as possible preferably in jpg format. Also, please let me know if you want your name included in the post otherwise I will assume no.

The easiest way to automatically follow the latest posts is to subscribed to the RSS feeds. With Firefox, under bookmarks select subscribe to this page. I use Yahoo’s RSS reader

On the version of internet explorer that I have there is an RSS button in the toolbar but you need to do some searching is you are using an older browser.

On the page you can click on the image to make them bigger. If you are having trouble seeing some of the images, select the newsletter link. This will take you Yumpu where the newsletter is stored. Click on the newsletter. At the top is a slider that lets you zoom into a page.
